Who We Are
Little Bits Dirt is a local, Alaskan, family-owned company
Little Bits Dirt is first and foremost a family business. We’re not only a close family ourselves, but we treat our customers like family as well.
Little Bits is owned and operated by Husband and Wife duo Hardy and Elizabeth Hamilton, and their children, Daryn and Olivia, as well as being guided by the wisdom of Hardy’s father, Fred Hamilton, who also spent a lifetime in the excavation industry and was educated in this trade work by his own father.
After learning and practicing the trade in Palmer, Alaska, Hardy moved his family to Fairbanks and officially founded Little Bits Dirt Company in 2017, but the whole family has been steeped in contracting and excavation work for over four generations. As such, the Little Bits family are born and bred Alaskans who understand and work with the land and the people like only locals can do.
We highly value our personal relationship with each customer, and take pride in our responsiveness and clear communication. If you need something changed, or have special concerns, we are ready to work with you, or with other contractors, to get exactly what you need done in the best way possible.
